Start your adventure right on our doorstep. Barkby Beach is a dog-friendly haven from November to April with miles of golden sand and gentle waves. Perfect for a morning run or a leisurely evening stroll, your dog will love the freedom and fresh sea air. Dogs are allowed all year to the east of the promenade.
2. Prestatyn to Gronant Sand Dunes

Newborough Forest and Beach is a national nature reserve and forest set in the beautiful county of Anglesey, located 1 hour 20 minute drive from Beaches Chalets. Although there are some restrictions in place for dogs, this is still definitely worth a visit. The trails are marked out making it easy to navigate to your destination. This area combines beautiful woodland trails with stunning coastal scenery, some beach walking is restricted from May 1st to the 30th of September.
